            The Russian war in Ukraine is never over. With the world's strongest countries at odds, an expert has commented on which country could be the one to start World War III.

China, Taiwan:

Professor Matthew Powell, a war and security expert at the University of Portsmouth, says that it will not be China or Taiwan that will trigger World War III.

This is because, judging by what is happening in the Ukraine issue, China knows that any action taken on Taiwan will receive a terrible response from the American side, so China will not take any such action, he says.

Russia, Ukraine:

As far as Russia is concerned, Russia continues to threaten the West with nuclear weapons because of its support for Ukraine. But because Russia knows the consequences of a nuclear attack, it is unlikely that it will, says Professor Matthew Powell.

Israel, Gaza:

As far as I'm concerned, I think Israel and Gaza could be the trigger for World War III, says Professor Matthew Powell.

As for Israel, it sees the war as a matter of life and death for its country. Israel is fighting against attempts to destroy its very existence.

But, he says, Israel may take a risk because the war will not win Israel friends, but rather isolate it.

However, no one is fighting to start World War III.

If World War III starts, it will be because of someone's mistake, or an ill-advised response without knowing how the opponent will respond, says Professor Matthew Powell.

However, he says that he does not think that any of these conflicts, whether it is the war in Gaza, will escalate to the point where major countries collide.
